We went to Ness Point Lowestoft over the Christmas period on our visit to Suffolk and got lucky with the Purple Sandpipers seeing a few coming to feed just as the falling tide uncovered the areas they like to feed on.
I took some video clips and combined them with some still images to make this short video - best to play back in 4k if possible. I used the OM-1 Mk ii + 150-400mm.

The first time I'd seen them this close to get decent photos, we've been there several times to look but didn't see any on previous visits, just Turnstones (which are also nice to see).
