Thanks for sharing the link, Have to say I am not impressed with the winner.
The most worrying one is the Prison of Technology showing all the satellites out there blocking the view.
Some of the others are very good, but I have to say I have seen many better ones on forums IMHO.Last edited by wornish; 11 September 2020, 09:10 AM.

I like the idea of the self-designed tilt shift device to give the impression of closeness by blurring the front of the image however I have seen much better images. I used to help out at the North East Astro Imaging Conference and some of the stuff presented there was jaw dropping.
I agree that the prison one is very worrying and sad.

Images of the Milky Way, California nebula and Andromeda galaxy are among the winners of the Insight Investment astronomy photographer of the year award. An exhibition of the winning pictures can be viewed at National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, south-east London, from 23 October
Some of the runners up are better than the winners IMHO.
