    Hello Mike

The change to Chrome did not resolve the problem, so I have emailed the flickr team this evening about it. I have asked them to reinstate the exif data to my photos or tell me what the solution is.
    All the best

      Good luck with that

Wish they'd have let me go on Flickr when I was at work, even at lunchtime we were limited as to what sites we could go on

      Not a problem now

Sorry, Phil, my suggestion was really to help anyone who was having problems because they were using IE11 and were unaware that Flickr had stopped supporting it.

I agree that the more they tinker with Flickr the more of it we seem to lose. So many little useful things have disappeared since the big change in May 2013.

Glad you found the thread useful. I use Chrome myself and don't see the EXIF data.

I'm running Win7 too, but I don't believe the OS will have any bearing on this issue. There is one exception - running Win7, for example, will mean that you're not running the latest version of Internet Explorer or Edge or whatever Microsoft calls it now. This can have an effect on how a web page is rendered. Running Chrome should be OS neutral.

Win7 cannot run Edge as that is a Win10 program only.

You can run IE11 (which is the latest version of this browser) on Win7 but, as I mentioned earlier, Flickr no longer supports IE11 so it cannot be used for Flickr.

Firefox, Chrome or Opera will work fine with Flickr on Win7.

            Hope that helps

I thought that's what I said... perhaps less explicitly though.

That's interesting I can still see EXIF data when I use Chrome in Win7.

That is strange, full EXIF is back on with both Chrome and Firefox.

I presume it's Flickr making its 'improvements' once again. They do seem to change one thing without realizing they've stopped something else from working.

I got the same this evening. The data is there again.

Thanks folks for all of your extremely helpful suggestions and support.
