I picked up a ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 when DXO added a function to create a preset directly within PhotoLab. I've always struggled with colour in Photolab, particularly skin tones and with the Wide Gamut. The ColorChecker gets me closer than before, but I still have to desaturate and otherwise tweak the reds for skin tones.
I would like to see if I can do better with Calibrite's own PROFILER software which requires a DNG file. Adobe Camera Raw is free to use, and I don't have Lightroom or Photoshop (just PSE). Are any of you doing just this, or in the habit of converting ORF to DNG? Any advice on how to accomplish this without loss of RAW file quality would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Declan.
