  • Workspace ground colour.

The colour of my WS is black, it's awful, so I rarely use it.

Is there a way of changing to say the colour of this page.

I've tried but cant find it, if it's there that is........

By WS do you mean OM Workspace?

If so, you can change the colour using the OM Workspace - Options menu (On a Mac anyway) Then select Display and select the colour you want from the drop-down.

Thanks Dave, I'm on a Mac.

OWS >> Options >> Display, only changes the 'Background colour within Thumbnail Area and View area.

The great border which is around the outside remains black.

I'd like to be able to change the whole screen area to a light colour.

its the same option with the same limitation on a PC - I have no idea why they would limit it like that its annoyed me in the past as well as I prefer a dark grey rather than black which I find harsh

I've just tried it on Windows and it sounds very similar. Under Tools -> Options... -> Display there is a pull-down box labelled "Specify background colour within Thumbnail area and View area". I have no idea whether or not this is what you are after, but it is something to try and it might improve things for you.

**Oops, I see we have crossed in the post**

I have the side panels closed when viewing images in a folder and this removes a lot of distractions.

Yes, you can make it lighter shades of grey. Sorry, no colour though. A bit like the ridiculous house fashion at the moment, with everything in grey.

Thanks Ross, yes I've done that, but the outer stuff stills stays black.

Yes, it would be nice if there were a little more flexibility there.
