Macro 4/3rds to 4/3rds like E-420?
has anybody tried it? putting a Micro 4/3rds lens to say an E-420etc.body
If it works we would have more lenses to choose from
It works the other way with an adaptor that doesn't put the lens so close to the censer but if that is all, the difference between them is 18.67mm
so if you put a lens with a 20mm flange onto the body compared to 38.67mm flange?

If it's as simple as distance, like to far away, it's no different as to using a Canon lens with an adaptor, I know AF won't work but manual does I know cos I use old glass. Thoughts

Because the m4/3 lens would need to be inside the 4/3 body and you would probably smash the mirror on the lens the first time you fired the shutter. And that would be the least of your problems.

If all else, focussing would be impossible as m4/3 lenses are focus-by-wire.

As would setting aperture unless the adapter included electrical connections, that's what I meant by the least of your problems.

No, because the M43rds Flange Focal Distance is 20mm to the sensor
as the 43rds is 38.67mm
so the m43rds will go into a 43rds body with 18.67mm to spare so to say

Better ask some Canon users. Apparently it can happen using certain legacy lenses on some Canon bodies.

For the sake of repetition

4/3 lens ( with adapter) and m4/3 lens will work on an m4/3 body
4/3 lens will work on an 4/3 body
m4/3 lens will not work on a 4/3 body such as an E-410
