Well done. I like it. Do you ? Not perfect...
Just testing and playing around a bit with great horizons in mind.

I make much fewer images today than I have in previous times, and I expect this trend to continue. Progress in art is not about becoming more prolific; it's about becoming more demanding." - Guy Tal

Yes, I like it a lot. in fact, it was one of the things that drew me to the E-M1 (with the v.4 firmware). I've written about some of the technical details on my website.

I use it all the time for flower photography. My only reservation is that I wish the automatic version could do more than 8 steps, since I have to make compromises between resolution and overall depth. I often have to turn to focus bracketing and then do the stacking separately in the computer.

        I am missing something Mike.
I use the 5 Mark II and it makes more than 8 steps... or am I on the wrong menu ?
Or perhaps, the firmware is more recent...

          Re: Focus stacking !

I was referring to the focus stacking feature. To quote from the Olympus website: "Olympus OM-D E-M5 II firmware 4.0 adds the focus stacking feature found on the TG-5 and E-M1 II. In this mode, eight images are captured as focus is shifted to create a composite final image with greater depth of field." Focus bracketing, where a final composite image is not produced in the camera can provide up to 99 steps.

                Well done AMc !

This is a slicer which was bought by my parents in 1958 when they went to Brussels to the World Exposition.
When I saw it at home, I remember I wanted to try (I was 10, then) and ended cutting a small slice of my left pointing finger trying to cut a potato.

I found it now among other stuff and wanted to sell it. It worth only 50€...
