Whilst not directly related to the E-M5 MK II, I'd be interested in hearing about release dates for the 300mm prime and any info relating to a potential E-M1 replacement.
Thanks for taking the time to keep us updated Ian.
Dave
No word on an E-M1 replacement yet, while the 300mm should be out before the end of this year.
I will double check but I think the 14-150 is imminent.
Incidentally, optically it is unchanged from the original 14-150 but the lens coatings have been updated to Zero type and the external casing has had a cosmetic redesign and dust and splash proof seals have been added.

Thank you. If the drawings on the FT org website are accurate there is a considerable difference in the optics between the old and the new.
How is software updated in the MkII? Is it still done via a USB connection, or have they learnt the lesson so well implemented by Panasonic of performing update via a SD card?

I guess we'll have to wait for the first firmware update to find out, but I'm pretty sure it will be by USB cable (unless someone discovers the web link to download it like they did with the E-M1 FW3.0).

Are going to be a way to customize the names of Myset ?
Example
Myset 1 = Portraits
Myset 2 = Landscapes
Are this names going to pop up on the screen so one knows where we are ?

"I've become very picky. Most of my outings these days do not yield satisfactory photographs because what used to be satisfactory to me in the past no longer is. I make much fewer images today than I have in previous times, and I expect this trend to continue. Progress in art is not about becoming more prolific; it's about becoming more demanding." - Guy Tal
