  • Battery BLS-50 vs. BLS - 5

I am using Olympus OMD E-M10 (Mark I) and I simply love it. Buying as a gift for my son the OMD E-M10 Mark II as a gift. I am a bit confused with batteries for the Mark II. Which battery is the proper one - BLS50 or BLS5?
What is the difference between them?

The BLS50 is really only an improved update with slightly more capacity of the BLS5 (from 1150mAh to 1210mAh) & is charged in the same charger, so it is best to buy the BLS50.
