    It’s a bit like the old rumors about not cleaning your sensors yourself quoting all sorts of problems , in actual fact it’s a 90 second job that shops and repairers charge a inflated price for ,

    a small dose of silicone on those knobs should ease them up and not affect anything if applied sensibly I.e a small amount at a time on a toothpick

      I did that with the Mk1, and it appeared to solve the problem. But Red Robin advised against using the silicone lubricant. And I have no knowledge of these things.

      Anyway, the dial is not gain, we shall wait and see.....

      I think I would use it too, on the end of an applicator (which might need to be thinner than a toothpick).
