Very sharp. Is this the m4/3 or regular 4/3 version of this lens?

          Hi Stephen
This was shot with the regular 4/3 lens . The bright midday sky with the sun just about behind the black birds made for a difficult shot for me the camera flash couldnt be used because of the size of the lens . The EP3 achieves fast focus with the old 70-300 and did a good job under the conditions I think.
          Thanks

            Hi Chevvf1
These are Red Tail Black Cockatoo's The first one looks very old and tired (like me) Just stumbled across them on a stroll in the park they were eating some type of red fruit and making a real mess of the tree.

Two great shots of them Gary, especially the focus on the eye amongst the tree growth as birds don't normally co-operate & pose in the best locations. I have Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos visiting here occasionally & usually in the trees where it is difficult to get a decent shot.

It sounds very promising knowing the lens can be used so successfully on the E-P3. I just wish there was a battery grip for that model too.

                Thanks Ross
I agree with you 100% a grip that held two batteries attached underneath with some side extension and presto e620
