  • Day outing with an outdated Stylus 1.

Had a quick trip to Malacca. I had to go home via the public transport so I didn't want to carry my OM-1. That's where this tiny Stylus 1 come in.

Did some street shoot as I wandered around and while waiting.

    Anyone for durian Juice?

    Spotted an ancient photo studio

In Malacca, good food may not be in cafes or restaurants.

This guy sells fishballs with taufu and a very interesting sweet sauce.

See that queue in the shade3 waiting to be served

We waited 1 hour. Sorry, no photo of the food..it got eaten too fast.

It was gone the moment it was open. No chance of photographing.

I heard that the guy have been selling at the same location for over 20 years.

Lovely photos. Street markets in Malaysia are always good value. I'm glad you can't photograph the smell of the durian! It's time you visited the naval museum and took a photo of the sister ship to the one I drove!

Great shots from a lovely little camera. Really enjoyed looking at them, gave a great feeling for the place.

I still have a Stylus 1 but there is dust on the sensor - I might dust off my C-750UZ though

That would be a good comparison.

Wonder if we will see a resurrection of the Stylus 1?

I don't see any chance of a revival of another type of Stylus 1, because phones are taking over in that genre of use, but I'm glad I have mine & was able get another near new Stylus 1 for my wife when she went sand surfing with her Stylus 1s.

We still have a couple of Stylus 1 cameras in the house (& one Stylus 1s with sand in it) & they still get used too.
