Hi. My friend have this Peleng 8mm wich want to sell. We tryed via my T-mouunt to M42 and then with M42 adapter to 4/3 and this not works with my Olympus E510. Need to find either M42 or better, directly T-mount to 4/3 which will work 100% on my E510. Any suggestion please.
He use directly purchased adapter with his Peleng to his EOS mount, and it perfectly works.
He answered, and he said this one ( http://tinyurl.com/6epmax ) should work 100%. But it's little bit pricey, as adapters goes around 10$. Someone to confirm this one really works.
Jucca, Personally I found no problems with using the Peleng via 2 adaptors, but if you do an ebay worldwide search on "t mount 4/3" it should offer a fair selection to choose from. Not sure how long the following link will last.
The only problem I've had is keeping the lans cap over that rather exposed front element. A little strap made of double sided velcro seems to do the job now.
I also picked up a wide angle lens hood (for a 72mm thread from what I remember) and opened out the inside of it on a lathe to be a push fit on the lens. I then cut down the 4 petals to avoid vignetting. It does help prevent flare and offers a little protection to the front element.

Reason: checked filter size for hood
Thanks for answering, this afternoon Peleng will arrive into my house , will take this direct Tto4/3 mount adapter from Ebay. Can't wait to fit it to my 510
Done it, is needed to sand mount about 0.8mm, now it is perfect. Focus corectly to infinity. Just a quick test pictures, JPEGs straight from camera. Pitty, I'm at home, ill, can't go out taking pictures with this baby
