    This is another bird we have in Europe, a Common Kingfisher. I am still waiting for my first chance to photograph them!

      Excellent capture of the Kingfisher.

      Out of interest what lens did you use? It looks like the bird was at a close distance to capture all that detail.

        The distance from the kingfisher was about 7 meters. (From Exif)
        Since the park has a boardwalk surrounding the pond, they are accustomed to people and can come quite close.
        The time was 4:00 p.m. and it was cloudy, so it was easy to shake the camera, but I propped my elbow on the railing to take this picture.

      I think he mentioned it was the 40-150 Pro with an MC-20 converter.
