  • 'Blad just launched 'the' W/A I've been wanting .....

.... So I've pre-ordered it. Supposed to be available within days, I hope so as I'd love to take it to Israel with me, off early Sept.
Thinking of taking both the X2D and the Pen-F with me and hopefully take some comparison photo's to share here.
I've put a post up in 'Travel" RE: Taking both systems, would be grateful of any input
Anyway, RE: the 'Blad 28mm ( 11mm M4/3 ) .... it's tiny and ultra portable and paired with just the 55mm ( M4/3 22mm ) will make for a very portable, lightweight and compact 'walk about' medium format system.
If anyones interested there is a review of the lens below.
Like I say I am hoping it arrives before 2nd Sept so 'fingers crossed'.
    Kind regards
    Simon

The new Hasselblad XCD 28mm f/4 P offers uses a very portable wide angle lens that still brings with it some innovative features and the promise of image quality able to keep up with the demands of 100-megapixel medium format lenses, making it intriguing for a range of applications, particularly street photography. Can it live up to those high demands in practice? This excellent video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you can expect.
