And finally, a shot of an oil painting by one of the pioneers of photography - Louis Daguerre. It's now in the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. He obviously had an eye for a good image !!

A nice set there. I've only been to Liverpool once on the ferry from the other side on a holiday in the Wirral a few years ago in 2023. Much of the dockside near the Beatles statues was taken over and blocked off by the Eurovision event setting up, a bit frustrating. It's on the long list of places to go back to.
