just took advantage of the fact my son was home to try out his sony AR7IV and 200-600 lens against the nikon d500 + 150-600 and olympus om1+300mm f4 +1.4 tc . the only main variable was the rain starting so not exactly the same conditions for each shot .. but it does show in my opinion anyway that the Olympus more than holds its own ,and I may need a tad more MA on the tamron lens, but generally not that much difference between FF and MFT or nikon 1.5 crop

Yea that’s my feeling to Phil .. just couldn’t equate to how far away the targets seemed with the FF. , and miss the ibis on the Olympus and while I like the versatility of the Nikon with the zoom .. I think in bad light a tripod/ mono.pod will be needed ..
