Yes it is only available via Facebook. It is on the official Olympus UK Page.

These sessions are in addition to the Olympus Image Space sessions.

This Forum also has a Facebook page, that was created to attract more people to our site.

I appreciate that Facebook is not for everyone, but it is freely available and reaches a vast amount of people.

It won't reach me ! FB is far too invasive.

Jax if you use FB but dont have any friends like I do it can be just another contact mechanism and isn't intrusive at all. It becomes a user activated forum that you can use as you want. I tend to just use it for camera club contacts and Olympus FB group contacts. I even use the messenger bit on occasion as an alternative to email for some folks.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks interesting. This is Olympus USA in collaboration with the UK team. It will be live late at night UK time but available afterwards.

The chap presenting it is Rob Knight one of the US Olympus educator folks. You can always check out his YouTube channel if you are up for that - it is here:

Travel and Nature photographer Rob Knight has been a professional artist for over thirty years. He’s been a photographer for more than half of that time and an educator since 2009. Rob is a Tenba Visual Artist, and an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop Lightroom. He was a two-time finalist for the National Association of Photoshop Professional’s “Photoshop Guru” award. Rob has published two books for Peachpit Press and Rocky Nook Publishing, and his work has been featured in Nature’s Best Photography magazine Rob is best known for his destination photo workshops, his easy-going teaching style and his informative critiques. He enjoys teaching in a classroom setting, but his passion is teaching and exploring with students on location. #AvantLink

It is a shame they don’t take these FB videos and upload them to other video media outlets like YouTube or Vimeo.

I will ask Mark if they can be recorded and made available via YouTube or The Image Space

          Just received from Olympus:

Hi Graham All our webinars are conducted via Zoom and people buy tickets for them through Image Space, so no Facebook required there. Our Facebook Live events can just be watched when they begin, people can click on a link and watch them without a log-in. Obviously they would need a FB account to comment and interact but they can watch without signing in.

I don’t mind paying to watch them on zoom. I will have a look out on image space, thanks for the update Graham.
