Corton and Gunton Woods are right on your doorstep, as is Corton Beach with pleasant walks. Lowestoft has seascapes at North Denes (Sparrows Nest) and South Beach (very extensive). Wildlife is a bit tricky to find at the moment but Carlton Marshes is about five miles away and is worth a visit for its extensive marshy habitat and wildlife. It has a brand new visitors centre and several trails. Lound Lakes is nearby too with walks in natural surroundings.
Street is not really my thing but the north end of Lowestoft has some very old buildings, although the area is rather run down.
I am normally locked away indoors at night, so I can't help with that. 🙂 You should be able to find some places with dark(fish) skies if you want avoid the street lights.
Good luck with the weather, though, as it is not looking at all good tomorrow.

Ness Point - the most Easterly point in the UK. You might even see some Purple Sandpipers on the rocks. http://www.ness-point.co.uk/Andy

Wildlife - Africa Alive is quite close by and assuming it's open has some great captive wildlife - last time I was there you could see what an angry Rhino could do to a heavy steel barrier!
Southwold is pretty and has the advantages of the Adnam's brewery owning some very decent pubs and restaurants
The pier is worth a look assuming it's open.
I'd take a look at Dunwich and the church at Blythburgh are interesting.
Check them out on Google Streetview before you travel.
If you're up for a longer drive then Horsey Beach has seal pupping - usually hundreds but I haven't been this year yet
BTW as I type it's snowing in East Norfolk
