I will put an ad in the for sale section with apologies for not taking part in the forum here, as I said I just stumbled across it and it looks good, very informative and interesting. I will miss the Oly, and originally was waiting hopefully for a weather sealed upgrade to the E620 before upgrading, but Pentax brought out the K7 first! As my wife has a Pentax Km I thought why not switch to the same lens system.

Hello all....
Just came across this forum, ironically while looking for somewhere to sell my Olympus gear! I've been using an E520 for 14 months and it's a great camera but I've just bought a Pentax K7. My main reason for getting the Pentax was its weather sealing (planning a desert trip), and the noise levels at high ISO that seem to be the bugbear of four thirds sensors. Plus the top LCD panel is great and something Olympus should consider putting on their mid-range cameras (along with weather sealing!).

Re: Hello all....
Good luck with your Pentax, and good luck with selling your gear too.

Re: Hello all....
Good luck with the sale, I've juts recently joined this forum as I'm doing the complete opposite of yourself! I'm moving from a Samsung GX20 (same as K20D and same sensor as K7) to an Oly E3 - mainly due to the excessive price of the Pentax mount weather sealed lenses the past year, the cost of the glass has near doubled in 12 months! whereas Oly seems to have hardly budged on price. Hi ISO is good on Pentax, but nothing spectacular, ironically - the Kx has better hi ISO performance than the K7!?
And Pentax's consumer SLR's (Km/Kx) also does not have a top panel LCD - as the K7 is their pro flagship model.
Again, good luck - and for a helpful forum - take a look at pentaxuser.co.uk (hope its ok to plug a good forum here?), the chaps there provided me with no end of helpful info.
Brian.
