Hello from Warwickshire

I'm Ian Piper. I live in Warwickshire in the UK. I can see that there are others from nearby on this forum.
I use different types of cameras - bit of a gear nut really. However Olympus has been a common thread; since my first OM10 when I was a student, I think I have always owned at least one Olympus.

I was lucky enough to pick up a new E-M1 Mk II at the Photography Show a few days ago; really good discount, and they threw in a custom Billingham Hadley Pro bag in the bundle. Anyway, I'm now trying to work through the features of the camera, and it's a lot of fun.

A warm welcome Ian. Many years ago did think about the OM10 (with the manual adapter of course) but the budget stretched to the OM40 with it all built in. The "10" was more of a purist camera in many ways without the bells and whistles of the "40".

Thanks. I'm in Southam, a small town close to Leamington. Yes, the E-M1 seems to be a very nice camera; I'm aiming to give it a good work-out this weekend (weather permitting).
