Evening all,
Sorry it's taken a while to say 'hello' but here goes...
Was sent the link for this forum within the photographic section of a hifi forum and was chuffed to find a UK-based board to chew the fat about all things Olympus.
I've been into photography on & off for over 40 years (since my teens) but now, in semi-retirement, it's great to have the time to really indulge. Had a few different systems over the years, and in the days of 35mm was a huge Nikon fan. I did try Canon for a while (owned one of the first EOS film cameras in 1987) but my heart was always Nikon.
In more recent years I've spent a lot of time with the Fuji X cameras (still have a well-worn - and loved - X100S) but only very recently discovered the OM-D's. Going from a full-frame Nikon the Oly was a leap of faith but I'm really chuffed to have 'found' it and am enjoying the E-M1 immensely.
Looking forward to browsing the threads/images in this forum and posting one or 3 myself.

Richard.
