  • Hello everyone

What a great forum I stumbled across yesterday! This one looks quite good too... Only kidding! I have been a Canon man for years but have had a brace of E-10's with the extra 'toys' for about 7 years now and have been a good backup to the EOS's but have decided it is high time to upgrade the E-10 to an E-1. Have a clean low miles body (!!) on the way from 'evil bay' and then discovered this site!! Ah well! Anyway it looks a good place to get some knowledge and perhaps to get the extra lenses I now seek!

I have liked the look of the E-1 for years and reading up over the last few weeks have been amazed at the following it still has so looking forward to getting mine in the next few days!

    best wishes to all, Rob

My greatest fear is after I am gone my wife will sell my 'toys' for what I told her I paid for them!

Hi there and welcome to the forum..

E1 - yes, a good choice of camera: Something of a classic and awfully well made

Put some pictures up on the free gallery space when you can.. It's all about pictures here

Welcome Rob. I'm a comparative newcomer on here but I can confirm that it's a really friendly and encouraging forum. The E1 is a great camera. It's amazing the quality you can get with only 5 megapixels.
