  • Hello from Buffalo, New York, USA

Thank you to Mark Greenhill for the invite. I am an Oly user in a sea of Nikons and Canons -- always the redheaded stepchild.

I travel mostly with the fearsome threesome: Mr. E-3 and the brothers Zuiko, 12-60mm and 50-200mm. There are other friends in the bag but these prove to be the most dependable and predictable. A fisheye Rokinon shall be sitting in my mailbox when I get home. There will be some new fun!

Street photography has been my past, my future is to learn to shoot with lights (strobe and studio). Let the terror begin...

Thanks to you all! (Said in a Texas-southern voice.) I look forward to posting some photos for your opinions. I have a few projects coming up. One, this weekend, full of hot-air balloons and cars. The Rokinon was waiting for me when I got home & on my E-3 in about two minutes (I know MY priorities). My grandson came to spend the night with his mother and that was that for experimentation. I understand this fisheye needs to be calibrated to achieve crystal-clear focus, so that will be my project for this evening. Anyone out there who also has the NOT $900 Zuiko fisheye let me know if you have one similar to mine. I have to give myself a crash course before this weekend. I think some fisheye shots of classic cars will be much fun if I can pull it off!

Hi Renata and welcome. You will be in good company with like-minded photographers here. Your E-3 with two main lenses is a great system capable of producing superb results, whatever owners of "superior" brands might think. Often I think that this little secret works to our advantage!
