  • Hello there from me, Stan

Been a keen photographer since school days. Went professional for a short while after giving up the day job. Now retired from everything but still an avid photographer.
Bought the Pen E P-1 when it came out and have been smitten by the quality. Made a mistake and bought a Lumix GX1 which is also good but the X PZ lenses all have blur at the long end, so planning to sell them and go for an OM-D....which is what I should have done in the first place.

Hi Stan, and welcome. Glad you are enjoying your photography in retirement. It seems that soon I'll be the only one on the forum without an OM-D!

I'll get one secondhand in about a years time.

Hi Phil D, Best tip as an ex pro.......don't be fooled by bigger and heavier cameras giving better image quality. I'm amazed at the quality of my PEN E-P1. It's only that if you are a practising pro then customers ain't going to be impressed if you don't turn up with a serious load of gear. And for an A4 sized ad, the PEN is more than enough. So now that I've stopped the pro work I've sold all that big heavy SLR stuff and gone 4/3rds. Just try it and have faith. More tips if you want.
