  • Hi from North East UK (Sunderland)

Hi all. Been meaning to get around to joining here for a while. So many cameras, so many forums, so little time!
I'm Mike, creeping close to 47 (June).
I've a small collection of various cameras in various formats, though my e620 with the 2 kit zooms is the only dSLR I own, and it probably gets the most use. I have adapters to use my OM and M42 lenses as well, so quite happy!
I've returned to photography about 2yr ago after some decades. I got a pretty good grounding in the basics from manual everything in 35mm.
Starting to get the change to digital, I think.
I'm a Linux user, so it's GIMP for me. Can't really fault it though I appreciate it's not as smooth or intuitive as, say, Photoshop.
I'll be popping in and out as often as possible.

      Welcome Mike.
There is a meet up planned on the 14th of May, it would mean heading North a few miles, if that is not to horrible a thought to contemplate. Details should be on the Forum Index somewhere.

See you in Newcastle on 14th of May... wow, time flies!

We have an e-600 and various old lenses too, though no OM-mounts.
