A belated hello

Been a semi dormant member but have posted my first ever pics this evening, to any site that is, so thought it about time I said hello.

I have an E520 with the kit lenses and recently acquired Sigma 150 - 400 which I bought second hand for our recent Kenya trip.

I'm a keen racing sailor and have been for 3 decades but in amongst that and raising kids, also sailors and junior national squad members, I used to shoot 35mm film and even had a dark room at home. Decided to take it up again after a long gap and being a computer professional it had to be digital.

Essex rules !!

OK - maybe not, but most of it is very different from the popular image. I live on Mersea Island which has some of the most stunning sunsets over the marshes you could wish to see.

The Essex marshes are very underated so perhaps we should have a group gathering to prove the point
