Hi

I am looking to learn from "normal" people the tricks and trips of digital photography using Olympus digital cameras.

My 2nd SLR was an OM2 which I loved but I have never processed a roll of film in my life.

I then had / still have an Olympus SP350, nice compact.

Next came an e-500 with standard two lens kit, which I sold after two years to buy an e-620 and I'm now trying with more specialist lens.

Welcome along!

The E620 is a great camera, I use one all the time and there is very little it doesn't do well.

There is free gallery space for members, so thats where to put your pictures, and this is where to ask your questions.

As to "normal people" .. hmm

Welcome here - it's a very friendly site.
I hope you enjoy your E620. I have one too and it's a brilliant bit of kit. Nice and light and small but with just a few of the bells and whistles added. Now if they'd only bring out a top range model the same size!

In some circles no one who uses an Olympus is considered to be normal so welcome to the club.

Don't listen to what anybody claims about normalcy. We are all pretty normal after all we take pictures of stuff, ask others what they think and listen to their advice and critique. We try and help with any query. That's normal isn't it? Now you have all got me scratching my heads

Another definition of normal is 'at right angles to'.
Does this perhaps mean that we should all get the most of our polarising filters?
