  • Back behind the viewfinder - bargain bucket E-620 - E-M1 Mkii and OM + AF 4/3 glass

So back behind the viewfinder after a 15 year hiatus as my old E-450 was stolen years ago.

Picked up 2x Evolt E-620 bodies to go with the bag of glass I still had lying around, was amazed they were so cheap, E-620 + 14-42 kit zoom #1 - £35 off fleabay delivered but it needed a battery, charger and CF card, 4k exposures after I checked and came with a skylight filter plus fully working IBIS which I always wanted for the old OM glass I like to use on occasion. E-620 body #2 came with another 14-42 lens - skylight, Charger, flat battery and a fast CF card in a medium carry bag, £65 delivered, working IBIS and less than 100 exposures, still can't believe what was £1k of kit all those years ago only cost me £100.

Also nabbed an E-M1 Mkii - boxed with LM3 flash, strap, charger and 3k shutter count under £350 which am looking forwards to trying with a 9-18mm F4 - 4/3 lens I picked up relatively cheap at £85 will be interesting to see how this does with 80mp stacked landscapes etc. Not looking forwards to paying for the new IPX rated m43 glass but will be glad of the weather proofing when it will eventually be needed, as the rain in Yorkshire is infamous.

I tend to shoot pretty much anything so have been filling out my lens bag a little as I wanted to replace the old 4/3 - 40-150mm lens that was also stolen with the old E-450. Looking for an MMF adapter right now but prices are steep on fleabay for the original olly units.

Any tips on using the E-M1 appreciated as I haven't had chance to use it yet.
