  • Photography and Video Show, March 16-19th 2024, NEC

Just wondering if anyone has managed to obtain the 30% discount offered on the standard ticket price by clickiing the button in the email received today?

The website states "Your promo code has been accepted. This promo code is only valid on specific events. Look for your code next to the prices beside the ticket quantity dropdown box." but my code certainly isn't shown next to the ticket prices beside the quantity dropdown box, and I believe no discount has been applied.

Needless to say there's no obvious way to contact the organisers listed in the email or on the website...
    Regards,
    Mark

Can't help you on that Mark, but I'm looking at cheap flight options 😀

When I click through to Get Tickets the top ticket option in the list is the one with my promo code against it for £13.27 which is 30% off the standard ticket price of £18.95.

Maybe they had a glitch when you first tried? I find sometimes these emails are sent before the website is fully working.

Not sure if I can go yet though so haven’t actually purchased, I don’t have full control of the calendar that far ahead 😂

Ah checked calendar and I have an appointment with a Totoro in London on the 16th, trouble if I miss that.

Ah, the discount only applies to single day, full-price tickets.

It would have been helpful if they’d actually said that (along with saying it’s not for concession tickets, which is there).
I'm going for 3 or 4 days, and the daily concession rate comes out slightly less than the discounted single day ticket price.

Any ideas of dates for a meet up? I keep missing them 'cos I went with a friend but going to give priority to an E group meet up this year.

Booked my slot for Tuesday 19th. 10-112i for the advice so the rest of the day to meet up and have a mooch around.

Interesting to hear you’re going for the PAGB awards.
I’ve just signed up for the next RPS level, to be assessed in September (although it can be deferred). I know my photography improved a lot with what I learned to get the earlier ones: I’m certainly someone who needs a target & deadline to move myself out of my comfort zone 😬

Drmark. I got the LRPS in 2014 and really want an A but cannot think of the statement of intent, so while I think about that, thought I would go for advice on CPAGB. (I failed a CPAGB yonks ago so need to get a grip!)
        Working...
