We plan to be there on the Saturday where I am reliably informed that Rob Cottle and Clare will be on hand to answer any questions and there will be some offers on that you can take up at the event

I was going to be there on Friday, but the family who donated all the historical bird photos I'm working on with the national museum of Wales are coming to see our work so far so I feel I should prioritise that.
I'm there on the FRIDAY..See you there MJ224 Mark...If you see me say Hello. You know me, I forget faces easily..Going to miss you Jeff (blackfox) seeing you going on the Saturday. I'm shooting Hot Rods at Pendine on Saturday.
For anyone going to this event and who wants to help publicise the group (and who wouldn't)
They have some e-group business cards on the OM systems table (next to a wonderful array of cameras and lenses). Please feel free to take home a few to hand out to any Olympus / OM users you may see around and about and if there's non on the table there were a couple of hundred in the box underneath so please ask for them
if anyone is going to an event and thinks some would be useful rather than remembering to tell people to "google e dash group" all the time like I was doing last week I can arrange to send you a few
BTW some good offers at the show - I've just reserved a camera body and 2 lenses for us to pick up on saturday. I was happy to do it like that as it's my local camera shop hosting the event and I was very happy to support them as well as OM systems by buying at the event

Yep, I went there today, despite horrendous traffic on the M4. Assume a crash somewhere.
.
I was hoping to see Dennis there but did not spot him. I was there for three or so hours...
It was always busy and they seemed to be sending quite a few people over to the shop counter which is good for both OM Systems and Camera Centre (my local shop anyway so very happy to support).
The shop did ask if I was happy to go pick up a lens I'd pre-ordered from their warehouse as I am local and it allowed them to have stock for others which I was happy to do as the owner )now retired and his sons are running it) used to be very kind and drop me off things on his way home via the shop and pub (I live between the his old local and his home).
Another view on the Saturday of Mrs S testing a new 14-45 while being advised by Rob Cottle and with Clare (see they do appear as individuals at some times) advises another potential customer

God knows how we missed each other Mark..I was there at 9am, sat down at 9:30am to listen to Geraint Radford and chat with him after, then walked around quite a lot of the time. Stopped at every Model photo shoot, chatted to nearly everyone there. Chatted to our Gavin Hoey each time I passed him and took more Portrait shoots of the Gorgeous model. Sat outside more than once to drink coffee and chat with others from the camera clubs. I also Stopped a Fight at Gavins stand between two photographer friends. Left at 3pm.
The show opened at midday, the motorway traffic was grim. My wife and I arrived at 1pm and circulated well. You must have been wearing camouflage Dennis....
MJ224 (Mark) We left Swansea at 8am as we knew what the traffic would be like. It was pretty Grim in places. I will not mention the speed I went to in parts.
