Hi Everyone, its been a while since our last meetup in Sunny South Wales
a couple of people have said they are intrested in my other thread, so would anyone else be intrested in a meetup soon?
Id be happy to organise if thats ok with everyone and thought I'd kick off with some ideas, so we can all discuss and then confirm a date and schedule.
Date: How about end of this month 26 or 27th
Time: start 9.30am (below schedule should last 6 hours max)
Schedule:
1. Meet at Big Pit, an hour and half should be plenty of time to discover the top part, if people would like to go underground we will need more time here
2. Coal Houses (as seen on BBC One) - These are directly below the big pit and a fantastic photo oppurtunity
3. Bleanvon Railway - The trains are not running until March, but it quite close to the big pit, so its worth a stop off, to photograph the tracks etc
4. Semtex Boiler House - Last standing building of the old Semtex / Dunlop Factory and great for people who like to take derelict photos.
5. Llangynidr Moors - Fantastic place to stop off for wide landscape shots
So there we go just some ideas to get the ball rolling, Im fully open and just happy for us to all have a meet up, so if you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know and we can all agree and then set everything in stone
Cheers
Steve
