I'm really enjoying being a member of this forum (my only photography forum); I am learning a helluva lot by reading all the new posts - and catching up with older ones. I wish I had joined in Jan 2020 when I bought my first non-compact digital camera, the brilliant M5 MkIII.

That’s good to hear. It’s a great camera and the current Olympus offers for this are excellent!

Hello everyone.. you have definitely found the best place for Olympus users all over the world. Please help spread the message. I recently met someone using an Olympus user who said he did not know where to go for the best advice and told him about this forum so I hope he's here soon

Poisoned? You mean by GAS? (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) 🤣

GAS is self inflicted. Poisoned, that's as in that 100-400 thread.

I moved from Panasonic to Olympus in Sept, and selling my studio stuff and everything I didn't need I managed to purchase the M1X and 300 f4. I already had the 12-40 and 40-150 pro lenses used with the G9. Shot my first Birds at Martin Mere on Oct 1st. What a learning curve - but what results. Fantastic Kit indeed.
First question will relate to 2x tele on the 300mm but I will search for info first. Thankyou for welcoming me.

Welcome to you all. This is a great place to hang out if you're an Oly user. Lots of experience and knowledge - and very friendly (so long as you don't go looking at the "We're all doomed" thread ! ).
