  • Site oddity.

I use a MacBook with BigSur.

My font is tiny......it's not funny.

The font on every other site is my normal size as set in > preferences > Display.

If I zoom in to any other site the page gets bigger, font and all......BUT the site still stays the width of my screen.

NOT SO here, each time I zoom the page starts to get wider and wider and disappears of the RH side of the screen.

If I want to see the whole screen I have to scroll side to side.

Try command+ repeatedly until you get the desired font size, when you are on the site. That should increase the size of the font. command- decreases the size of the font. From then on, whenever you visit the site again, your Mac should remember that font size.

      Thank you.

But as I said the site disappears of the RH side of the screen.

That's very strange. I don't have that problem with either my MacBook, nor with my MacMini, which is running Big Sur. I have tried using the Safari and Firefox browsers. What browser are you using? I'll fiddle around a bit and see if I can make the same thing happen.

I am, of course, sympathetic and concerned that Dave has this issue and sincerely hope a solution can be found, but it's also a bit amusing (Sorry Dave) that one Mac user has a problem while another doesn't!

No problem here also. Monterey(beta) on 27" iMac.

Just noticed you don't say what browser you are using. Are you using Safari or something else?

Funny thing that, it only happens on Safari not Chrome.

Bit of a long shot ...

Have a look at the Safari - Preferences
Under the Websites tab, there is a setting for Page-Zoom is that set to something other than 100% for e-group.uk.net?

I use Chrome on both a newly rebuilt PC and a new MacPro 13 running big Sur. Never had any display issues....
