Thanks Ian, but I thought uploading to the forum gallery and posting from there was the preferred option? Using Flickr certainly simplifies matters if posting the same pictures on multiple forums.

Yes, uploading to our gallery is the recommended method; it means value is added to the site and you will hopefully get more focused attention on your work from like-minded people. But I think it would be churlish to exclude opportunities for people to show what they have previously shared on external sites.

Thanks for clarifying that, Ian. It's great to have another option for sharing pictures on the site but I will continue in the main to upload to the gallery.
