10,000 page views!

The new FTU Knowledge Base Wiki has surpassed 10,000 page views in its short life

And we now have 132 pages of content. I envisage well over a thousand pages ultimately but although a few folks have registered accounts only a few are actually contributing... so I have created a page just for anyone to practice editing on, see:

Another 1,000 pages views in less than 24 hours, despite the DNS problem we had last night (I was unable to see the site for 3 hours and several others are reporting the still can't see the site over 12 hours on).

I'm really hoping some more volunteers will sign up and have a go at contributing to the wiki though:

Sounds like a success. I found half an hour this morning on the train to have a look and I'm sure this is going to end up a useful resource.

I noticed something that wasn't entirely clear on the PP-1. So issued (I think) an amendment.

I think we're doing around 1,500 page views a day now

We're up to 141 pages of content as I write this and it could be over 150 by the end of today.

However, I'm still mostly doing all the work! mhobart has been busy on the wiki too, but I desperately need more assistance in checking and correcting pages, adding information to existing pages and even adding new pages in the form of new articles.

I also need more people to know about the new wiki - Barr1e kindly gave it a plug on the dpreview E-System DSLR forum earlier today, for example.

Any help you can spare will be very welcome

A week on and we have just logged our 20,000th page view; that's 10,000 page views in one week - it took a whole month for the first 10,000 views

And we now have 24 more content pages, making 161 in total. I am seeing a little more help - mainly mopping up my mistakes but basically most of the new content was put there by me; I would really like to see someone bite the bullet and start adding new content alongside mine.

Quite a few people have registered accounts and are ready to go but I wonder if there is a sense of apprehension; don't worry - go for it

Anyway - I'm aiming to double the page views by this time next week and I hope we can have another 25-30 pages added too - maybe more if some more brave souls can join me!
