  • OM System online shop enquiry response times

Some of you have experienced rather slow response times to enquiries relating to online purchases via the OM System online shop.

OM System tell me their current turnaround time for enquiries can be up to 72 hours. This does mean they receive follow-ups from customers before they have answered the original query.

They are working to shorten this time. Part of the problem is that there is still back-end work to modernise the system, much of which relates back to the Olympus days.

The best way to contact OM System is via:

    I hope that helps.

    Ian,
I’ve been trying to contact them regarding extended warranty on n a lens. All I get is a mail failure due to them not accepting mail from yahoo.co.uk. As this is the mail address for my account and registered equipment it’s a PITA.

I’ve forwarded the mail via another account but no response yet….

I got this too, my main email is a yahoo.co.uk address.
In the end the route Ian described above brought some success.
My parcel was collected today so hopefully all will be sorted soon

Email is a nightmare these days. Anti spam filters a lot of legitimate email. An online form is a bit more reliable.

Caution is advised regarding the online form. I tried to fill it out after using a link provided in a mail from support and it was rejected as having been sent from an unreliable source - AOL.com, my mail provider.
Shortly after exiting AOL mail I filled the form out using the support page on the OM site and everything went OK.
