Gosh, having only 11 entries makes my job easier. But they still need voters, 16 to date. I would expect another 5 or 6 in the next couple of days...................come on, click away...

              2nd..........dtravis..........................Unma sked ...............................................13 votes

An amazing forest fire photo by TravelingChick won everyone's attention. A super interpretation Celeste, a well-deserved win. Congratulations.

Fairly close behind, dtravis also had a different interpretation, which worked very well. Certainly something different.

And in third place, Ian produced a very warm fire photo. I can feel the warmth from here, (-5'c this morning)

Congratulations to all of the winners. Points will be going towards the E-Group photographer of 2022.

So good to see different interpretations, a personal like for me.

Settling down into the "Other Ranks", OM User's Fire Pit again was a fire photo, with warmth and interest. Well done Jeremy. 8 points.

In 5th place =, Scottwin's Scout Camp Fire again was a nice warm feeling photo, the heat of the fire was shaded by some of the scout group. I liked the background of people also being warmed. MJ224 No Guy Fawkes, but it was nice and warm..The heat of the fire was evident, the fire from well-lit bonfire. Both with 7 points

In 6th place =, Wornish's My neighbours had their grandkids around this evening. Hopefully safely. The warmth of the fire with the characters in the flickering light set off this photo so well. Well done Dave. AMc's Viking Battle around the bonfire also sharing 4 votes, shows a hoard of well-armed Vikings, burning their bridges to keep warm. With a bit of grog too, I bet. Did you take part, Andy? Also with 4 points, sapper's Hot Chilli was a lovely thoughtfully composed photo. One of my favourites. Well done Dave.

In 7th place =, we have blu-bu-u's It blew up. Took me a moment to work out whether it was the storm or the building or machine that had blown up. Interesting one Henry, well done. Also sharing the final place, BDennis's Memorial Candle Flame. I am so glad that you got a vote Bill, it was not looking good until the last minute! Which was a bit of a puzzle. The photo deserved more than one vote in my opinion. But votes are limited. Well done anyway...

Stats include 11 entries, 27 voters, and 74 individual votes...

A smaller than usual Challenge, but those entries were all brilliant (), so thanks to all for submissions, and supporting the E-Group forum.

Well done. Congratulations to the winners.

Well, I finally, after a few months, hit the bottom to inspect the barrel with BDennis

MJ224, It was an explosive demonstration that went wrong. A tat too much TNT (or C4) was used.
