  • May I suggest an indoor photo challenge next?

Still life, everyday objects, composition etc.,

Just throwing it out there and looking for ideas that we can use to get our gear out in these trying times.

    David.

Absolutely - I have been meaning to set up a 'what is this?' challenge using macro or extreme crop images to mask the identity of an otherwise easily identifiable object.

    Other ideas are welcome!

I'd like a challenge to make a perfectly normal household object or feature interesting through composition and lighting. From salt and pepper pots to a stairway...

I've started my macro reveal challenge here:

        https://www.e-group.uk.net/forum/for...veal-challenge

If you have a photo in mind you can start a similar challenge or a variation to suit.

I can help tomorrow if you like.

Thanks, but time is not on my side. This virus has taken two revenue sources from me as a self employed actor, so I am in need of alternatives ASAP and am working on them.

I'm obviously sad and concerned for you and probably a lot of us (Julia and myself included) with this dire situation, completely understandable. On the positive side - just out of curiosity do you do film or TV and so do you have an IMDB page?

            Thanks for the comment Ian.

            here you go! https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9394271

There's a little video of some of my earlier work - waiting for release of stuff I did in 2017/18!

Having relocated, I'm having to start from scratch and try and grab the attention of people in the industry: Casting directors, agents, producers etc. This pandemic came just as I was making plans to fund the pavement with my calling cards.

This challenge subject was suggested by Henry (Blu by u) about a week ago, and was updated in the Challenge list for the next six months.

As the virus crisis goes on, we might have to change more of our usual challenge subjects. All suggestions welcome..:-)
