To spice things up - I've seen other photo challenges where the curator can add an example image or two to get the juices flowing and to feel at least that they have some engagement with the process. So, here are a couple from me.

Not required, just point one of your ultra long lenses in the general direction of the coast, you're bound to get something you like.

Living between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay with various smaller Lakes in the area we're not exactly short of shoreline but it's freshwater and not tidal. The border between Canada and the US is in Lake Huron if that counts as coastal.

Living between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay with various smaller Lakes in the area we're not exactly short of shoreline but it's freshwater and not tidal. The border between Canada and the US is in Lake Huron if that counts as coastal.

Works for me those lakes are quite big
