  • 1st Outing

    Hi,

This is my first time of posting for critical review.
This was also taken on my first time out with the 7-14, so any constructive comments will be welcome.

    Re: 1st Outing

The choice of viewpoint, lens and subject matter neatly divides the image into people and architecture. Both are distorted, the effects on architecture is easier on the eye, distorted people not so, its one of those images i keep looking at and i still can't make my mind up about. That's not a bad thing..

To me it instantly appealed. An interesting shot that keeps you looking for quite a few moments. The B/W makes it work as well. Kind of emphasises what your intentions were.

I think I would be pleased to have that in my collection.

      John.

I like it. Somehow it's the sort of picture I'd expect to see in some sort of brochure showing a bustling shopping area.

It does seem almost two pictures in one, with all the action in the lower half - which I like. I'd love to see the top part in more detail some time
        - my pictures -
