Help with image requiring editing.

I've tried to edit the bottom lhs corner of this image a few times now and just cant get anywhere with it. All my attempts look terrible! I wanted to try and remove the ugly red barriers works cabins and the house replacing them with suitable background grass/bushes/trees for the scene. Anyone have any suggestions? or even better would like a go? feel free.

In all honesty phill the easiest way is to play with cropping ,there are quite a few pre.set sizes in LR. .i think any cloning would ruin it ,or even add a border around the edges
Looking again the church is the main subject .so ruthlessly crop in to loose the crap then enhance the red church door to draw the eye in
oh and clone out that phone mast

I did resort to cropping but it is supposed to be an image of Belper Cemetery for a research document and it really needs the context of the surrounding trees and hills. I agree about the mast that might have to go as well.

My editing/processing skills are low down the order Phil but I had a very quick play with the inpainting brush in Affinity Photo.
By no means perfect but the eye is no longer distracted quite so easily.

Well if that is low down skills then mine are pretty none existent! Which to be honest they are. It brilliant AJW thanks a million. How you did that so quickly I'll never know. I spent hours trying to learn how to do that by watching you tube videos tonight and just got really confused. You are a star.

That's really nice of you Jeff thanks for your kind offer. I'm on windows so mac use is likely to be even more confusing but one day when this virus is a bit quieter I'd love to meet up.

Its so difficult to see the image as a whole, as it does not fit on my computer/monitor screen without scrolling. No a criticism, but in the first place I would submit the image as "Medium" rather than large or more.

But its an outstanding image despite. I might have cloned out the Phone mast at the top..............

I also like the 16:9 format, and thus...

Thanks Mark. I'm surprised it wouldn't fit on your screen if you click on it it fits on my laptop screen ok. I reduced it to 1600x1200 and then posted it as full size to give anyone a reasonable sized file to work on once downloaded if needed. I like 16:9 as well but in this case I left it as shot for now so it could be cropped to fit the research work it's intended for. I suspect it may well end up as 16:9 though.

Yes the screen resolution and sizing is always a personal preference. I scale my screen on this Dell Vostro and external monitir to 125%. It recommends 150% which seems a little exaggerated. 100% is a bit small for my ease of reading. And actually at 100% I still can't see your whole photo. So It's probably my fault I can't see complete images. That's a subject for another thread I guess. Well taken anyway, loads of possibilities, I love that church...

Ah yes I forgot, I usually have mine set to 80%. I chose that because on my other larger monitor for some odd reason the image resolution at 80% was better than at 75 or 100% and I've just stuck with it. Words are a bit small but I've got used to that.
