    Excellent stuff Dave.

Haven't been for an age. Have they got rid of the ten pin bowling? It looks fantastic.

I've worked hard to be this grumpy. It hasn't been easy at times but it's worth it.

Very good but that top one looks to have too much of an overall pink tinge. Is the white balance off or was it really like that (if so I'd hate it in there).

I'll bet my ages are longer than your ages! It's about 65 years since I visited Southend.

I'm think of going again this year - is there anything I ought not to miss? (ISTRC the Kursal was just a fun-fair, though whatever it is now it looks good in the above images.)

Interesting set love the colours and tone the only improvement would be to tone the highlights down slightly.

I like the building, but don't go a bundle on the lighting!

BTW - any Moderators out there! I put a Thanks and a Like on the BBC Countryfile thread in the Lounge and had lots of "Deprecate....."comments above each one!

EDIT: they've disappeared now that I've left it and gone back. Phew - thought I'd done something wrong!

I was just reading about the Kursaal. I didn't realise that Vera Lynn began her singing career there! Sounds a very interesting place.
