    Interesting set. I like the composition on the last one and would sugest that it would benefit from some work on the statue to make it much punchier and stand out against the sky. May even be worth trying a slightly over the top approach to that as it could work on this composition.

      Any ideas how I could do that to the statue...I already dodged it and increased contrast using brushes in Aperture...the dodge tool was on its limits?

        They're all very good, the first is just about perfect but my favourite is the windowed bridge even off-centre it is very interesting with the reflections and wotnot.

            I feel the last one is the type of shot that lends itself to slightly more whacky processing than normal. Here it is solarized.



            No 1 is my favourite, it's a dynamic composition with great light. The only improvement I might suggest is to shoot it again on a step-ladder to reduce the converging verticals. Having said that, I quite like the converging verticals - they add tension and drama.
