    Saw this on my way home from my allotment, cut a twig and photographed it in the bathroom

          A good image as it is, I'd suggest you crop away the empty area from the left and lower edges maybe..

                  Yes it is a blossom - but the pic is a great capture of one.

                  Looks like an apple to me. But take a pic in about 6 months of the same branch and we will all know.

                    I think it may be a bit early for apple - maybe Cherry? Well exposed and good DoF control.
