  • Australian White Ibis

    I found this guy foraging beside a creek bed. I like the yellow daisy weed although some may find it distracting.

    The Australian White Ibis was formerly called the Sacred Ibis
    and is distinguished from other Ibis by its black plume tail feathers and a line of underwing bare skin.

    These were shot with the 50-200, (no converter) and are significantly cropped.
