Bucking Bison- Yellowstone

I shot this angry bison in Yellowstone, he was fed up with his winter coat shedding. Any thoughts on how I can improve this shot please?

You were certainly fortunate to be there at the right time. The highlights are a bit washed out and the shadow side of the Bison shows no detail. I would do a bit of tweaking with shadows/highlights control and then decrease the blue whist enhancing the reds.

That's better post-processing. It's difficult to see the details on Flickr photos posted here, I'm sure the size isn't doing this funny photo justice!

The background from the river and up is a bit disturbing, maybe a tighter crop around the bison, that way we'd see the bison larger. Great shot! Lucky and well executed!
