I have just been looking at some older images taken with my E-1 and came across a bunch that were taken at Haddon Hall, Derbyshire. Some of them were pretty 'dull', so I enbarked on a Photoshop session to see what could be done. One of the images can be found here:
It is the result of three layers; one that contained an oversaturated original, the second was a monochrome conversion via channel mixer with the red channel increased and the blue decreased. The third was a mono layer for the sky area with the red channel upped a bit.
I quite like this kind of muted color effect - what do you think?
