Hi Steve - welcome to the site!

I love the water-directional effects you have achieved in the first two shots in particular.

      Re: My first post

Hi Ian thanks for your comments.
I had a problem, I bought a new case for my filters the other week, Then left the darn thing at home. So I had to use f16 -f22 to blur the water. Its only my second time out with the 11-22 and I think after f11 diffraction takes hold.
I hope to try again sometime soon.

      Good Shooting

Great photos, I like the water effects as well, and I really want that lens! Wish the Lakes weren't so far away.

          Steve,

Are you sure it was your first time??

Really good effects. The swrling water and eddies look excellant.

Very impressive, especially if done without the aid of a ND filter

You have to love this time of year for the colours - the fallen leaves make these photos so much more appealing to the eye.

              Re: My first post

Its not my first time at this location I have shot here before with the 14-54.
But yes its only my second time out with the 11-22.

I went to Castlerigg Stone circle the other week with it and came away with these 2 panos.

I got this one also. unfortunately my tripod was not high enough to get more of a view over the wall.

              Good Shooting

Should say I did use my polarizer at aira falls. It was the only filter I had with me. I prefer to use a holster style bag and you cant get a lot of filters in those.
I have now tied my tilter bag to the camera bag so I wont forget them again

                Good Shooting

                  Hi Steve -

No. 3 at Aira falls I like very much. Where the leaves fell on the rock in the water makes it look like a crocodile with a shortened snout.

Just like that - gone in a flash! Now in use.

Beautiful - I love the way you've captured the eddies in the 2nd photo.
