Drawing to the close of the journey, just 1 night left to camp.
First we headed to WIndjana Gorge to set up camp. One of the flowering trees along the way is colloquially called the Kimberly Rose (or Sticky Kurrajong). It's native to Western Australia -

The road was fairly dusty - you can see the dust rising from other vehicles down the track -

Windjana Gorge is in the Devonian Reef system that includes the Mimbi Caves where we camped on the first night of the journey - its about 200km cross country from Queen Victoria's head where the road hits the reef -

After setting up camp we headed off to Tunnel Creek - also in the Devonian Reef. It's a ~700 metre tunnel carved by a creek through the limestone rock. Most of the way you can walk beside the water or splash through ankle-deep. In one spot there was a 20m swim in head deep cool water in the dark. There were a couple of freshwater crocodile's red eyes visible in the torchlight along the way and a bit of rock scrambling. Because of the expected swim, I didn't take my camera. It was an interesting experience.
Then it was back to camp to see the sunset in the Gorge.
More crocodiles in the gorge -

Some reflections from the cliffs -

And the gorge catching the setting sun light

Next morning it was the final pack up and a trip to Derby.
The Derby wharf at moderately low tide -

The mudflats -

Then back to Broome for final drop-offs and back to normal life.
Thanks for all the kind comments, likes and views along the way.
